چکیده

Introduction: The Papuan people have utilized the native herb Laportea decumana (Roxb.) Wedd for centuries to treat aches and pains L. is used by attaching leaves to the body area with illness. Methods: This study aimed test optimal composition of PEG 400 and 6000 in L.decumana  simplicia ointment formula produce a good physical quality ointment. employed three designs made up mixture (A): (B) ratios 65%:35%, 50%:50%, 35%:65%, respectively, using simplex lattice design approach. Physical qualities created ointment, such as organoleptic, homogeneous, miscibility, stickiness, pH, acceptability tests, were performed on it. Next, results properties response calculated obtain optimum formula. The One-Sample T-test 95% confidence level was compare experimental findings formulation expected optimization Result: indicated that 400: 60%: 40% which having spread 3.63 cm; pH 9.2 test; stickiness 7.5 seconds. showed there non-significant difference between predicted p>0.05. Conclusion: itchy can be formulated specific had quality.

Liposomes in polymer matrix. Stability of liposomes in PEG 400 and PEG 8000 solutions

Integration of liposomes in polymer matrix is a new concept of controlled drug delivery system. Those kind of materials allow to control dosage of applied drug and time of its release. Certain types of liposomes are unstable, so they require structural support. The main aim of the paper is to investigate how polymers influence aggregation of liposomes. Two different polymers were used for this ...

The Synthesis and Implementation of Pebax/PEG 400/NH2-MIL125 Nanocomposite Membranes to Separate CO2/CH4

In the present study, the permeabilities of CO2 and CH4 in terms of ideal and actual CO2/CH4 selectivity were investigated through the synthesized membranes of poly (ether-block-amide) (Pebax 1657) accompanied with poly (ethylene glycol) (PEG 400) and NH2-MIL125 nanoparticles. NH2-MIL125 nanofillers were added to the blend of PEG...

Preparation, characterization and in vitro dissolution studies of solid dispersion of meloxicam with PEG 6000.

The poor solubility and wettability of meloxicam leads to poor dissolution and hence showing variations in bioavailability. The present study is aimed to increase solubility and dissolution of the drug using solid dispersion techniques. The solid binary systems were prepared at various drug concentrations (5-40%) with polyethylene glycol 6000 by different techniques (physical mixing, solvent ev...

Preparation and Characterization of CA−PEG−TiO2 Membranes: Effect of PEG and TiO2 on Morphology, Flux and Fouling Performance

Modified cellulose acetate (CA) membranes were prepared by dissolving the polymers in a mixture of acetone (AC) and N, N dimethylacetamide (DMAc) (70:30) solvent and deionized (DI) water was used in the coagulation bath. The introduction of polyethylene glycol (PEG) additive and TiO2 nanoparticles (NPs) into the casting solution has changed the structures of the resulting membranes during the p...
